Senior Finance Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all finance and accounting operations, including tax compliance and reporting;
• Prepare timely and accurate monthly and annual reports for both management and statutory purposes;
• Ensure the financial reporting is compliant with group accounting policy, IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) and local accounting policy;
• Manage budgeting processes and cash flow projections;
• Ensure proper control, accounting, and accountability of capital assets;
• Responsible for managing and maintaining cost accounting processes and procedures;
• Responsible for managing and maintaining the credit control and receivable collection;
• Collaborate with external advisors on tax, audit, financial, banking, legal, treasury, and risk management matters;
• Maintain effective internal budget controls and ensure compliance with corporate policies and procedures;
• Review and enhance the internal control system to ensure operational and policy compliance;
• Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Competencies required

• Degree in Accounting / Finance;
• Min 8 years of experience in manufacturing environment preferred;
• Strong financial reporting, cost control experience;
• Familiar with manufacturing accounting and inventory control system;
• Knowledge with the Latvian accounting standards, custom and tax system, preferable;
• Knowledge of the IAS (International Accounting Standards) or FRS (Financial Reporting Standards);
• Experience in manufacturing setup and costing;
• Excellent command of written and spoken English to ensure effective communication with stakeholders in an international environment;
• Possess a high level of integrity and good leadership and supervisory skills;
• Able to communicate at all levels and excellent analytical skills required, confident in dealing with senior stakeholders.
