Sales Director

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement and lead the sales and marketing organization, by coaching and developing existing sales staff and hiring new key members;
  • Transform the company’s B2B sales organization from an agent/distributor- based model to a more direct sales model, with focus on Global Customers Management;
  • Formulate sales and marketing strategies that will enable the company to achieve its ambitious growth objectives;
  • Outline and manage sales budgets;
  • Set and update monthly and annual sales goals and motivate the sales teams to achieve their goals;
  • Monitor market and competitors’ products, initiatives and activities and react accordingly: propose necessary countermeasures if needed;
  • Provide detailed rolling sales forecasting with a 12-months horizon;
  • Establish and maintain key global customer relationships. Review their activities, anticipate their needs, and improve customer satisfaction;
  • Create sales reports template to be adopted by all the sales force and prepare regular updates on key customers’ projects progresses;
  • In collaboration with the CFO and the CCO, create and monitor Sales KPIs;
  • Build and complete project requests for R&D that are significantly impacting the bottom line or that are strategically important and will collaborate with R&D to assure that projects are completed according to the deadlines that have been agreed with customers and that they deliver according to the identifies potential;
  • Have responsibility for clients’ solvency both new and existent. Collaborate with CFO to recover credit.

Requirements:

  • Experience in B2B specialty sales in international companies export oriented;
  • At least 3 years’ experience in a management position;
  • Specialty ingredients technical background will be seen as an advantage;
  • Ability to manage complex negotiations;
  • Deep understanding of key account management methodologies;
  • Experience with preparation and execution of key accounts strategic plans;
  • Value selling capabilities;
  • Business development expertise (management of project pipelines in conjunction with R&D);
  • Having and being able to establish connections with decision makers and influencers within the food industry;
  • Opportunity to go on business trips often;
  • Professional proficiency in English.
