Learning and Development Manager

Key Responsibilities and Tasks

  • LMS system development and administration for the company in different countries
  • Creating and implementing e-learning policies and procedures
  • Developing and implementing strategies to promote e-learning within the organization
  • Responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating online training programs including creating instructional materials for managers/content creators, conducting training sessions, and assessing the effectiveness of training programs
  • Sourcing external training providers where needed
  • Responsible for identifying training needs within the organization and complete/maintain a skills gap/training needs analysis
  • Responsible for staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in employee training and development
  • Monitoring and assessing the effectiveness and success of training programs
  • Managing e-learning platform and tracking employee progress
  • Providing support to managers and employees as needed and general administration
  • Travel expectations every 2-3 month


  • Higher Education in HRM, Organizational Development and Education, MBA or related field
  • At least three years of work experience in a similar position
  • Fluent in written and oral English (C1, C2 level)
  • Experience in developing, delivering and managing online learning programs
  • Current knowledge of effective learning and development methods
  • Familiarity with e-learning platforms and practices
  • Experience in project management and budgeting
  • Proficient in MS Office and Learning Management Systems (LMS)
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills; sharp business acumen
  • Ability to build rapport with employees and vendors
