Deputy of the Sales director


  • Establish and maintain key global customer relationships. Review their activities, anticipate their needs, and improve customer satisfaction;
  • Work to achieve monthly and annual sales goals and motivates sales team members to achieve set goals;
  • Monitor market and competitors’ products, initiatives and activities and react accordingly: propose necessary countermeasures if needed;
  • Take a part in creating sales reports template to be adopted by all the sales force and prepare regular updates on key customers’ projects progresses;
  • Take part in designing, implementing and leading the sales and marketing organization, by coaching and developing existing sales staff and hiring new key members;
  • Take a part in transforming the Companys’ B2B sales organization from an agent/distributor- based model to a more direct sales model, with focus on Global Customers Management;
  • Take a part in formulating sales and marketing strategies that will enable the company to achieve its ambitious growth objectives;
  • Participates in the preparation of the sales budget;
  • Take a part in providing detailed rolling sales forecasting with a 12-months horizon;
  • Prepares and completes project requests for R&D and will work with them to ensure that projects are completed in accordance with deadlines and established qualities agreed with customers.


  • Experience in B2B specialty sales in international companies export oriented;
  • At least 3 year’s experience in a management position – Sales manager, deputy of Sales director or proven experience in key account manager position or a similar experience;
  • Specialty ingredients technical background will be seen as an advantage;
  • Ability to manage complex negotiations;
  • Deep understanding of key account management methodologies;
  • Experience with preparation and execution of key accounts strategic plans;
  • Value selling capabilities;
  • Proven experience in management of project pipelines in conjunction with R&D;
  • Having and being able to establish connections with decision makers and influencers within the food industry;
  • Opportunity to go on business trips often;
  • Professional proficiency in English.
